But despite his numerous issues outside the cage, McGregor has rarely had any issues relating to his actual fights. Until now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">On Tuesday, news broke that McGregor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/ufc\/448875\/conor-mcgregor-suspended-18-months-under-ufcs-anti-doping-policy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">had received an 18-month suspension<\/a> from Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) \u2014 the in-house agency that runs the UFC\u2019s anti-doping program \u2014 after repeated failures to submit testing samples as required by athletes under contract with the promotion. The suspension stems from failed sample collections in 2024 and McGregor\u2019s failure to properly provide his whereabouts to the testing agency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Fortunately for McGregor, the suspension is retroactive to his most recent incident, September 2024, and thus he is eligible to return to action in March 2026, a few months before his stated return target of the UFC White House card.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Still, the incident is yet another bad look for McGregor, who has not competed in over four years, and the MMA community reacted as such, ripping McGregor and the UFC for this latest fiasco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Check out your reactions to McGregor\u2019s latest misstep below.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The strange saga of Conor McGregor continues.
