{"id":199290,"date":"2025-10-09T02:40:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T02:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/199290\/"},"modified":"2025-10-09T02:40:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T02:40:07","slug":"harcourts-solutions-golf-day-raises-funds-for-mitchelton-special-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/199290\/","title":{"rendered":"Harcourts Solutions Golf Day Raises Funds for Mitchelton Special School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The event, held at the Keperra Golf Club, successfully raised a large contribution, which will go towards upgrading the school\u2019s junior playground.<\/p>\n<p>The day saw 70 players tee off to support a cause with deep personal connections to the Harcourts Solutions team. <\/p>\n<p>The funds were raised through player participation, donations, on-course raffles, and an auction featuring items generously provided by sponsors, including\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/realestate.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Realestate.com.au<\/a>\u00a0and Domain. <\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the auction was two paintings created by three students from Mitchelton Special School, which were presented by 16 students and staff who attended the event.<\/p>\n<p>Mitchelton Special School provides educational programmes for students aged 3 to 18 with intellectual disabilities, many of whom also have additional diagnoses such as Autism or physical impairments. <\/p>\n<p>Lauren, the Deputy Principal of Mitchelton Special School, expressed her gratitude at the event, stating, \u201con behalf of the school, thank you for your generous support.\u201d She was visibly moved by the overwhelming contribution during the cheque handover.<\/p>\n<p>The main focus for the event was to connect with community and give back to an organisation that aligns with many of the team members at Harcourts Solutions. Group Director from Harcourts Solutions, Etienne Labuschagne\u2019s son attends the school which is why it was the organisation of choice.<\/p>\n<p>The choice of venue was also significant, as the team has supported Keperra Golf Club for many years while also being leading real estate professionals in the local area.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Labuschagne shared his thoughts on the successful day. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was amazing to see everyone come together for a great day. The event is one we have wanted to do for a long time and to see it come to life was sensational.
