Rumours are swirling that Oscar Piastri<\/a> wants out of McLaren<\/a> amid rising tensions within the team.<\/p>\n

The earliest plausible timeframe for a move is 2027, coinciding with the potential contract expirations of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, which could open a seat at Maranello. Again, the exact date is not known.<\/p>\n

While Piastri is contractually committed to McLaren for the immediate term, history shows that top drivers can often secure an exit if a substantial contract buy-out is involved.<\/p>\n

After 18 rounds, McLaren has been the dominant force this year, winning 12 grands prix and securing consecutive constructors’ championships with races in hand.<\/p>\n
