\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> closed out \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl<\/a>\u201d press tour with one last stop on \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers<\/a>.\u201d Appearing on Tuesday\u2019s broadcast \u2013 Meyers\u2019 1,713th episode, a number that fittingly adds up to 12, matching Swift\u2019s 12th studio album (and nodding to her lucky 13) \u2013 was appropriate to the numerology that\u2019s followed her entire career.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift and Meyers covered her record-breaking new release<\/a>, which became the most-consumed album in a single week hours before the taping started, and the self-directed \u201cFate of Ophelia\u201d music video that reunited her with Eras Tour dancers and backup singers.<\/p>\n

\n\tKnown for keeping her songs locked down with click tracks, she revealed she played the top-secret release for her dancers before the music video was filmed. \u201cIf they were on the Eras tour, they know how to keep a secret,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking back on her stadium run, Swift admitted to some FOMO watching the VIP tent each night. During one of her London shows, then-boyfriend, now fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce<\/a> was joined by hometown friends and A-listers Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Cruise, Hugh Grant and Greta Gerwig \u2013 Kelce\u2019s favorite director. \u201cHe loves Greta Gerwig. He loves her movies, he loves her range,\u201d Swift said.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the concert \u2013 as part of what Swift described as their routine car-ride debriefs \u2013 Kelce told her he was disappointed that Gerwig didn\u2019t laugh at his \u201cBarbie\u201d joke. She recalled him telling who he thought was Gerwig, \u201cI love \u2018Barbie.\u2019 I\u2019m just Ken, too,\u201d before pointing to Swift. He said she \u201csmiled politely but didn\u2019t say anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLater, after seeing videos online of Gerwig and Kelce \u201cdancing all night,\u201d Swift realized the case of mistaken identity. \u201cDo the math,\u201d she said. \u201cIs there any chance at all, baby, that you complimented Hugh Grant\u2019s wife, Anna, on her movie, \u2018Barbie?\u2019 And she politely nodded, because she didn\u2019t have the heart to tell you she didn\u2019t direct it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBut with the Eras tour wrapped and the \u201cShowgirl\u201d rollout winding down, Swift is shifting her focus to wedding planning. Meyers pitched invitation ideas \u2014 from an electronic blast to a framed print, since \u201cpeople will do it anyway.\u201d \u201cYou can say it\u2019s my idea, so nobody says you\u2019re being cocky or arrogant or anything,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift also reflected on when her head of security called her when Zo\u00eb Kravitz\u2019s snake got loose in her house during the Palisades fire, her recent hyperfixation on baking bread, and meeting Meyers on SNL in 2009.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c[Hosting SNL] the most exciting thing that had ever happened to me in my life at 19,\u201d she said. The two reminisced over her Twilight-recreated skit, which parodied one of the biggest films of all time. \u201cNow that I look back, I am so lucky that we got to like do anything around something as iconic and as 2009 as \u2018Twilight.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMore than a decade later, she jokingly credits that SNL week with preparing her for the chaos of the Eras Tour. \u201cIt was absolutely the most amount of times I\u2019ve changed clothes,\u201d Swift said. \u201cI knew I could do the Eras Tour. I can get these costume changes. This is the most fact-paced thing ever.\u201d <\/p>\n
