Left-back Nathan Woodthorpe referenced the special nature of playing in the FA Cup ahead of tomorrow\u2019s trip to Morecambe.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old also spoke about the importance of the travelling support with over 1000 away tickets sold for Saturday\u2019s clash.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou always have to look forward to the FA Cup,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s always special to be a part of a competition with so much history and hopefully it will be one to remember at Morecambe.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe supporters will have a massive impact \u2013 It always gives us a boost when they travel in such great numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nathan also commented on the type of test that the Shrimps will provide at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are a total-footballing side,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know that they like to play out from the back and like to play their football, so it should be an enjoyable game and a good test for ourselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know that our performances have been improved in the last few weeks, despite the goals that we have been conceding.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is still some work at both ends of the pitch that we can improve on but the performances have been miles better.<\/p>\n
The full-back also spoke on the improvement within the defensive unit over the month of September.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve felt a lot more comfortable in games, especially since the draw at Fylde,\u201d said Nathan.<\/p>\n
