\n\tDisney pulled out all the stops for its Percy Jackson and the Olympians<\/a> San Diego Comic-Con<\/a> presence Thursday morning, announcing inside Hall H that Season 2 will arrive on Disney+<\/a> on December 10, 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to an in-room teaser and other fun moments to hype fans up for the Sea of Monsters adventure, author and co-creator Rick Riordan also revealed casting news for Season 3: Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie have joined Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians as siblings Nico and Bianca di Angelo, children of Hades.<\/p>\n

\n\tProduction on Season 3, which will be based on Riordan\u2019s third book in the series, The Titan\u2019s Curse, is set to begin soon.<\/p>\n

\n\tRiordan revealed the news via video message during the panel with stars Walker Scobell\u00a0(Percy Jackson),\u00a0Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase),\u00a0Aryan Simhadri\u00a0(Grover Underwood),\u00a0Charlie Bushnell\u00a0(Luke Castellan),\u00a0Dior Goodjohn\u00a0(Clarisse La Rue) and\u00a0Daniel Diemer\u00a0(Tyson)<\/a>, whose casting was announced last year in Hall H for Season 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe wave of reveals continued in the new Season 2 teaser trailer, which was almost accidentally skipped over in Hall H. In the clip, demigods gather for an \u201cinevitable\u201d war that\u2019s waging. Clarisse looks intimidating climbing out of a boat, as does Bushnell\u2019s traitorous Luke, who wields a sharp-looking knife.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBrace yourself, Perseus,\u201d Percy\u2019s dad Poseidon warns his son. After Annabeth asks Percy, who is also known as Seaweed Brain, if he really wants to go into the Sea of Monsters, he grabs her hand and says, \u201cLet\u2019s go do the impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the end of the teaser, Diemer\u2019s Tyson shows up to protect Percy from a ball of flame hurled at him, and he turns around so that viewers can get their first glimpse of his cyclops transformation as Percy\u2019s half-brother. The clip also gave a peak at the Gray Sisters in their taxi cab, teasing Annabeth about Percy being her boyfriend, which she never said in the first place.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Season 2, Percy is on a mission to find the Golden Fleece to save Camp Half-Blood, which is \u201crun by some jerk and being attacked by waves of monsters,\u201d said executive producer Craig Silverstein. \u201cSo, Percy has to set out to set things right, and that means a quest to find the Golden Fleece, which is a legendary artifact that can heal anything or anyone, and he needs to use it to restore the protective barrier that surrounds Camp Half-Blood. So Season 2 is about Percy trying to hold all of his life together as it\u2019s breaking and changing. And that\u2019s your typical middle school experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tExecutive producer\u00a0Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz also spoke on the panel, which was moderated by comedian and actor Timothy Simons, who will star as Tantalus in Season 2.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSeason 2 is epic. It is so huge, what we were able to build. We are on the\u00a0Sea of Monsters\u00a0adventure,\u201d added Shotz. \u201cSo, we are out at sea. We are on 175-foot ironclad ship. We are on cruise ships. We are in chariot races. We are fighting incredible monsters. It is so massive and we cannot wait for you guys to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the panel, Simons teased the audience with a special preview of Simhadri in Grover\u2019s highly anticipated wedding dress, which is a major wardrobe moment for him in Season 2\u2019s story as readers of the book will recall. The clip featured Simhadri\u2019s co-stars Jeffries, Diemer and Scobell present for the special day of the dress fitting in addition to his parents. Diemer expressed how excited he was to be there for Simhadri while Scobell went back in the dressing room to see the gown. Unfortunately, the clip cut off before we could see the dress, so viewers will have to tune into Season 2 for the big reveal.<\/p>\n

\n\tSimhadri and Scobell joked about the preparation they undertook for their big wedding scene. A ring may or may not have been involved. Scobell objected to a proposal that he didn\u2019t make behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on The Sea of Monsters, the second installment of Riordan and Disney Hyperion\u2019s bestselling book series. The installment\u2019s logline reads, \u201cAfter Camp Half-Blood\u2019s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp \u2014 the Golden Fleece. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy\u2019s survival is crucial in the fight to stop Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood \u2014 and ultimately, Olympus.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer. Tamara Smart will play Thalia Grace<\/a>, daughter of Zeus. Other recurring guest stars include Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus the leader of Camp Half-Blood, Simons as Tantalus and Lin Manuel-Miranda as Hermes, messenger of the gods. Courtney B. Vance has been recast as Zeus<\/a>, taking up the mantle from the late Lance Reddick. Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal and Margeret Cho will portray The Gray Sisters.<\/p>\n
