SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. \u2013 The Slippery Rock University Athletics Department and the SRU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee invites the community to a trick or treat event in Morrow Field House Sunday, Oct. 26 from 5-7 p.m. that will also feature a “Basketball Madness” event introducing the 2025-26 SRU men’s and women’s basketball teams.

\nTrick or treating will take place throughout Morrow Field House from 5-6 p.m. with each of the SRU Athletics teams setting up a themed station to hand out candy to children in attendance. Families will have the chance to meet the SRU student-athletes from each team and take part in various games, fun events and of course pick up candy from each team.
\n\u00a0
\nBeginning at 6 p.m. on the arena floor, the SRU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be introduced and the teams will take part in various competitions and exhibitions. Community members will have the chance to meet and greet with the basketball teams following the event.

\nThere is no cost for admission or cost to participate in the trick or treat event. Just bring the family out to Morrow Field House for a night of candy, games, competitions and community engagement with the SRU student-athletes and coaches!
