\n\tRebecca Ferguson<\/a> is giving some additional insight into her widely reported on-set clash with another movie star.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mission: Impossible actress, who next stars in Netflix\u2019s thriller A House of Dynamite, spoke to The U.K.\u2019s Times<\/a>, where she was asked about her previous viral comments<\/a> about an unnamed top-billed co-star who \u201cscreamed\u201d at her, prompting the actress to refuse to shoot scenes with him for the rest of the production.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Times asked if she had heard from the actor since her comments were widely reported last year. Ferguson said she hadn\u2019t and that \u201cI don\u2019t care,\u201d and noted, \u201cother people who have worked with this person also had a shitty time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAll that said, Ferguson suggested the situation was actually rather \u201ccomplex\u201d and that \u201cshe was not blameless,\u201d the Times paraphrased. <\/p>\n

\n\tGoing back to directly quoting Ferguson, she reportedly added, \u201cI will shove someone under a bus in front of an entire crew to make a point. I don\u2019t applaud my own behaviour in that. It\u2019s a really tricky world. We put a lot of blame on bullies and when we get older we can understand that people are insecure. When you start standing up for yourself, it\u2019s really tricky. They\u2019ll fire you and give the job to someone else.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tIn her original revelations, Ferguson said, \u201cI did a film with an absolute idiot of a co-star \u2014 doesn\u2019t matter who it is. I\u2019m going to try not to give this away, but I remember there was a moment, and this human being was being so insecure and angry because this person couldn\u2019t get the scenes out. And I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that I got screamed at,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe explained that \u201cbecause this person was number one on the call sheet, there was no safety net\u201d for her. \u201cSo no one had my back. And I would cry walking off set,\u201d Ferguson said. \u201cThis person would literally look at me in front of the whole crew and say, \u2018You call yourself an actor? This is what I have to work with? What is this?\u2019 And I stood there just breaking.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFerguson\u00a0said she felt \u201cscared\u201d after the ordeal and confronted her co-star, noting it was the first time she spoke up for herself as an actor. \u201cI looked at this person, and I said, \u2018You get off my set. You can F off. I\u2019m gonna work towards a tennis ball. I never want to see you again.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the producers informed her she couldn\u2019t do that to the \u201cnumber one\u201d and the person would have to remain on set, Ferguson said, \u201cThe person can turn around, and I can act to the back of the head.\u201d And that\u2019s what she did. \u201cI remember thinking that time I was so scared. I feel it now when I\u2019m saying it,\u201d she continued. \u201cBut I thought, \u2018It shouldn\u2019t have to be that way.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the comments went viral and sparked a guessing game as to which actor she was talking about, Ferguson said in a follow-up interview that she received panicked phone calls. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI got phone calls from amazing co-stars who I\u2019ve worked with going, \u2018You understand what you\u2019ve done, right?!\u2019\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Oh my God. No, I didn\u2019t think.\u2019 I mean, it\u2019s not my responsibility, to be honest. I don\u2019t really care. You know, \u2018You\u2019re great, but my story is my story, and if you\u2019re a good person, then don\u2019t worry about it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt publicly denied they were the \u201cidiot\u201d co-star. Johnson posted on X<\/a>, \u201cHate seeing this but love seeing her stand up to bullshit. Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on set. I love that woman. I\u2019d like to find out who did this.\u201d Blunt denied it was her through a rep statement that read, \u201cRebecca and Emily are friends and there\u2019s nothing but love between them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFerguson has also ruled out Tom Cruise, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking of Cruise, in the new interview, she also spoke fondly of her frequent M:I co-star, calling him \u201ca man-child in a good way. I often joke that there\u2019s someone with a tranquilizer gun and a net looking for him. It\u2019s frustrating because you\u2019re ready to shoot and the sun\u2019s going down. Tom goes, \u2018What are we waiting for?\u2019 and I go, \u2018You!\u2019 And he laughs and goes, \u2018Fuck, I\u2019m sorry.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Rebecca Ferguson is giving some additional insight into her widely reported on-set clash with another movie star.
