PROVO, Utah – Nevada women’s tennis’ Amah\u00e9e Charrier competed in the quarterfinals of the ITA Mountain Regional this morning, but withdrew due to injury.<\/p>\n
Charrier’s match against UNLV’s\u00a0Nikol\u00a0Mircheva was tied at one set a piece as she dropped the first, 6-2, and bounced back to win the second, 6-3. Following set two, Charrier withdrew from the match due to an injury.<\/p>\n
Despite withdrawing\u00a0from the ITA Mountain Regional, she still has a chance at an NCAA bid through the ITA Masters Championship next month after earning a spot by winning the Mountain West Fall Qualifier.<\/p>\n
