The bottom is falling out in Baltimore. <\/p>\n

Superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson will miss a second consecutive game due to an ongoing hamstring injury<\/a>, which also sidelined him last week in the Ravens\u2019 44-10 loss to the Texans.<\/p>\n

Former longtime Cowboys backup quarterback Cooper Rush, who started last week for Jackson, will get the nod again in place of the two-time MVP.<\/p>\n

Baltimore has also ruled out five-time All-Pro middle linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) and All-Pro fullback Pat Ricard (calf) for the Week 6 contest.<\/p>\n

The Ravens, who have slid to 1-4 on the season, will host the Rams (3-2) on Sunday in their last game before a Week 7 bye.<\/p>\n

Jackson, 28, initially injured his hamstring<\/a> during the Ravens\u2019 37-20 loss to the Chiefs in Week 4.<\/p>\n

The four-time Pro Bowler was limited to 14-for-20 passing, accumulating 147 yards with one touchdown and one interception.<\/p>\n

Jackson added six carries for 48 rushing yards before exiting early with the injury.<\/p>\n

Rush threw for 52 yards across a 9-for-13 display through the air in relief for Jackson. <\/p>\n

In his first start for Baltimore<\/a>, Rush completed 14 of his 20 passes for 179 yards with zero touchdowns and three interceptions.<\/p>\n

Rush started eight games for the Cowboys last season in place of the injured Dak Prescott.<\/p>\n

Across the 2024 season, Rush \u2014 who made 12 appearances in total \u2014 completed 187 of 308 passes, recording 12 touchdowns and five interceptions with 1,844 yards.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Cowboys went 4-4 in Rush\u2019s starts.<\/p>\n

Jackson, who missed practice again on Friday, will have an extra week to return as the Ravens enter a bye week following their game against Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
