{"id":20418,"date":"2025-07-25T05:57:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T05:57:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/20418\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T05:57:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T05:57:08","slug":"wta-player-claims-she-is-going-to-start-behaving-like-danielle-collins-when-she-returns-to-playing-tennis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/20418\/","title":{"rendered":"WTA player claims she is going to start behaving like Danielle Collins when she returns to playing tennis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Danielle Collins is one of the most entertaining players on tour and continues to entertain fans wherever she goes.<\/p>\n<p>The American star made headlines earlier this year at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/australian-open\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian Open<\/a> following her win over home-favorite Destanee Aiava.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/many-tennis-fans-love-what-danielle-collins-did-to-the-australian-open-crowd-as-she-gets-booed-following-second-round-win\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collins blew a kiss to the crowd<\/a> after the match and thanked them for paying for her holiday as they booed her off the Show Court Arena.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2194186955-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Danielle Collins blows a kiss to the crowd at the 2025 Australian Open\" class=\"wp-image-114850\" \/>Photo by Hannah Peters\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Not just known for her post-match antics, the 31-year-old has also produced several impressive performances in 2025, none more impressive than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/danielle-collins-names-the-olympic-gold-medalist-who-inspired-her-during-win-over-iga-swiatek-in-rome\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collins\u2019 straight-sets win over Iga Swiatek<\/a> at the Italian Open.<\/p>\n<p>Well-liked by the majority of her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/wta\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WTA Tour<\/a> rivals, one player has now claimed she wants to start acting like Collins when she returns to action.<\/p>\n<p>Daria Saville says she \u2018loves\u2019 Danielle Collins and wants to start acting like her<\/p>\n<p>During the latest episode of \u2018The Tennis\u2019, former world number 20 Daria Saville shared her thoughts on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/danielle-collins\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love her! I love it.
