Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos has put to bed any hint of a suggestion he could be tempted into a trade move, amid reports rival AFL clubs have asked questions about luring him away.<\/p>\n

Daicos, who finished runner-up in the Brownlow Medal<\/a> for the second straight year, is contracted to the Magpies until the end of 2029.<\/p>\n

But that hasn\u2019t stopped rivals making contact with Daicos and his management, while launching audacious bids for the 22-year-old midfield gun.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess it\u2019s just that time of year, isn\u2019t it?\u201d Daicos said on Saturday at Caulfield racecourse. \u201cI\u2019ll leave all that business with my manager, Robbie D\u2019Orazio, he does a great job.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always says to me, \u2018if it\u2019s anything serious and I need to let you know, I\u2019ll let you know.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cHe hasn\u2019t let me know as of yet. There\u2019s always movement going on but I just wait to hear from a call from Robbie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pressed on whether Collingwood fans had anything to worry about before Wednesday\u2019s trade deadline, Daicos was adamant.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can put that to bed. I don\u2019t think so,\u201d he said. \u201cAs I said, Robbie handles all that stuff and I haven\u2019t heard anything, so it\u2019s just business as usual and I\u2019m contracted.<\/p>\n
