Vicki Gill and Jeffrey Derrick, both 43<\/p>\n

Vicki and Jeffrey met through mutual friends at a local pub in 2023.<\/p>\n

The following year, Jeffrey organised a sunset beach proposal complete with music and French champagne.<\/p>\n

On the big day, Vicki donned a cathedral length veil that her mum wore on her wedding day in the UK.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s one-year-old grandson was ring bearer, and Vicki\u2019s daughters Rhaine and Nubby brought everyone to tears with a touching speech for their mum and stepdad.<\/p>\n

Guests were treated to plenty of fresh Abrolhos Island oysters from a family friend who owns an oyster farm there.<\/p>\n

When and where<\/p>\n

The wedding took place on August 23, 2025, at Geraldton Yacht Club.<\/p>\n

Attire<\/p>\n

Bride Vicki purchased her dress from LDN Bridal in Mt Hawthorn, which has since closed down. Groom Jeffrey had a custom suit made at Peter Jackson Carousel.<\/p>\n

Honeymoon<\/p>\n

The newlyweds spent five days in Monkey Mia just after the wedding, and have a bigger honeymoon planned next year to visit the part of New South Wales where Jeffrey grew up.<\/p>\n
