Coulthard had said the team was \u201csoldiering on\u201d after he struggled to maintain power from third to fourth gear.<\/p>\n
It is sadly the first time Mostert has failed to finish the Bathurst 1000.<\/p>\n
When Coulthard took the car into the pits after struggling with the gear issue, the team asked him which gear was the problem – he replied: \u201call of them!\u201d<\/p>\n
