Both will wear the team’s colours through at least the 2027 season.

Robyn Clay

Having taken up competitive cycling relatively late and competing in her first road race in 2021, the now 21-year-old Clay has made big strides forward each season since. Mostly racing on the domestic scene in the United Kingdom, Clay has also raced in the very competitive Belgian national races and got to experience hard racing at the likes of the Volta a Portugal in previous years. 2025 has marked her best year yet with a dominant display in Great Britain where she won the overall National Road Series, National Circuit Series and Super-League titles. Alongside those consistent and strong displays, Clay also could raise her arms aloft with an impressive stage win from an attacking group at the Tour de Feminin in Czechia.

Clay said: “What really drew me to Team Picnic PostNL is how hard-working and determined the team is. Everything about the team feels structured and driven toward getting the best out of every rider. That’s the kind of environment I really value and want to be a part of. I’m excited to learn from the riders and staff around me, to find my place in the WorldTour peloton, and to keep growing, not just as a rider, but also as a teammate and a person. Having some fun along the way would be pretty cool too! I’d describe myself as determined and not afraid of tough days or rough conditions. I like to keep the team spirit high, even when the going gets hard. My aim is simple: to get the best out of myself and help those around me do the same. On and off the bike, I bring resilience and a sense of humour when the time is right.”

Team Picnic PostNL head coach Rudi Kemna added: “Robyn has been on our radar since she impressed us during some testing that we did together last year, and her progress since then has been remarkable, especially her victory in the British National Series. She brings youthful energy and a strong foundation that we can help turn into even greater power and endurance. Her role will focus on supporting our Classics squad and contributing to the sprint lead-out, while we work with her to build a bigger engine and broaden her racing experience. We are thrilled to welcome her officially into the team and excited to guide the next stage of her development.”

Lucie Fityus

Originally from the coastal city of Newcastle in Australia, Fityus has dabbled in a variety of cycling disciplines in her career, with a focus on track cycling in her younger years before transitioning to the road. Gaining experience over in Europe in 2024 with an Australian based team, she made the move permanent this year by joining a French squad. A strong rouleur due to her track background, Fityus also packs a solid sprint with a tenth place at the “unofficial sprinters world championships” of Scheldeprijs. She has also shown glimpses of her potential in the classics, with resilient rides at Brugge-De Panne and the Ronde van Vlaanderen.

Fityus added: “For me, joining Team Picnic PostNL feels like stepping into an environment I’ve admired for a long time. I’ve watched so many talented riders come through this setup, past and present, and grow into strong, confident professionals. That pathway has always inspired me, and now I finally get the chance to be part of it myself. I’m excited to embrace new ways of working and to make the most of every opportunity to develop, both as a rider and as a person. I love the thrill of aggressive racing, testing my limits, and finding out how far I can push myself. On and off the bike, I like to bring positive energy; I believe that having fun while doing the job well is one of the best ways to keep improving and make the team stronger together.”

Team Picnic PostNL head coach Rudi Kemna continued: “Lucie caught our eye in the spring Classics, where she consistently raced alongside riders from the biggest teams and proved she belongs at the highest level. Her arrival gives our Classics group extra strength and stability, and she will also be a key piece in our sprint lead-outs. Moving from the ProTour to WorldTour environment is another big step, but Lucie’s determination and natural racing instinct convince us she can adapt quickly and become a decisive support rider in the most demanding races of the year.”

Photo Credit: Kevin Buyssens Team Picnic PostNL are pleased to reveal two more additions to their Women’s program:…

[569
64,63,784,85
0":"post-207038","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-cycling","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-cycling","11":"tag-sports
["GET
