{"id":207910,"date":"2025-10-12T13:31:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-12T13:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/207910\/"},"modified":"2025-10-12T13:31:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-12T13:31:09","slug":"what-is-better-about-the-2025-aprilia-motogp-bike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/207910\/","title":{"rendered":"What is better about the 2025 Aprilia MotoGP bike?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola says \u201cthe average\u201d of the RS-GP has gotten better in 2025, with the brand now consistently challenging dominators Ducati for race wins.<\/p>\n<p>A decade into its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MotoGP<\/a> return, Aprilia has yet to mount a serious title challenge with one of its riders.<\/p>\n<p>That said, the 2025 season has seen the Italian manufacturer become a consistent frontrunning force, with the brand currently second in the constructors\u2019 standings.<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/995158\/marco-bezzecchi\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marco Bezzecchi<\/a>, Aprilia has achieved a grand prix victory and a brace of sprint wins, while a second full distance race success was on the cards in Indonesia prior to the Italian\u2019s tangle with Marc Marquez.<\/p>\n<p>Since winning the British Grand Prix, Bezzecchi has been on the podium in at least one of a weekend\u2019s races in all but four rounds.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>The RS-GP has maintained its cornering strength but has been able to improve under heavy braking as a result of electronics changes made during the season.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Rivola sees that \u201cthe average\u201d of the bike as improved from previous years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe good thing of the bike, clearly here &#8211; and Marco in particular &#8211; was very fast on the flowing part and that used to be quite a good characteristic of the Aprilia,\u201d he said in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt looks like in the end, in stop-and-go tracks, we are more competitive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, the average of the bike is getting better and better.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a way I prefer to have a fast rider with a fast bike who doesn\u2019t finish because of a mistake, because I don\u2019t think he will do mistakes every race.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStill, I\u2019m confident for the next races.
