C\ufeffongratulations are in order for Aussie singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte<\/a>, who is now engaged after proposing to her partner<\/a> Pip Loth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer, 50, posted a video to Instagram revealing the proposal, which took place at Niagara Falls\ufeff in Canada.<\/p>\n

The video began with a shoutout from Canadian actor Noah Reid, who dedicated a cover of Tina Turner’s Simply the best to the couple. He is known for his unique rendition from his role on Schitt’s Creek.<\/p>\n

Over the sound of his voice,\ufeff the Rogue Traders singer shared moments from the trip with Loth, including taking a helicopter ride over the water.<\/p>\n

The scene then changed to a woman writing a poem on a typewriter in public, with the pair standing in front of her as stage manager Loth was handed a note from the woman.<\/p>\n

The Neighbours star then pulled out \ufeffa ring box and presented it to Loth, before getting on her knees.<\/p>\n

Loth pulled her up before accepting the ring, with the couple embracing.<\/p>\n

Later in the day, Loth and Bassingthwaite went over the events of the day, with Loth showing off her ring to the camera.<\/p>\n

“Just a little casual proposal\u2026 it was me, I got proposed to!” Loth exclaimed, showing off the thick silver band.<\/p>\n

The singer captioned the post, “\ud83d\udc8b\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb\ud83c\udf08\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc8d @piploth So grateful \u2764\ufe0f”, also tagging Reid, the woman in front of the typewriter Hannah Monsour, a Canadian winery, and Double Bay jeweller K’DOR.<\/p>\n

The jewellery house also shared a photo of the couple to its stories with the caption “Congratulations to our gorgeous K’DOR couple on the announcement of their engagement.”<\/p>\n

Many celebrity friends flooded the comments with well-wishes.<\/p>\n

The couple recently celebrated two years together\ufeff, with Loth sharing a video<\/a> on Instagram \u2013 a montage of their time together over the years<\/a> \u2013 and a gushing tribute to the former Neighbours star.<\/p>\n

“My [love heart], you have given me strength beyond belief… You have held my hand, wiped my tears and shown me that anything is possible,” Bassingthwaighte wrote in part of her message.<\/p>\n

“You are the most extraordinary human to friends and strangers. How lucky am I. My heart is full. I LOVE YOU. Two years and counting [kiss emoji].”\ufeff<\/p>\n

The pair confirmed their relationship in 2023, facing “vicious” and “horrific” comments about it since.<\/p>\n

“It’s a load of crap, it’s not acceptable and I want it to stop!” Bassingthwaighte said in a statement.<\/p>\n
