Two-time premiership Lion Brandon Starcevich has waved off any concerns about his concussion worries after being traded to the West Coast<\/a> Eagles.<\/p>\n

The former Brisbane Lion had a head knock in the Lions<\/a>‘ 47-point win against Geelong<\/a> in the grand final and has missed just under two months of football this month.<\/p>\n

Although he sat out of the grand final after the head knock, Starcevich said he is right to go with his new club after being traded from the Lions to the Eagles<\/a> five days ago.<\/p>\n

“A cautious approach with it all [sitting out of the grand final after the head knock]… No need to take a risk, especially with me, I think was most of it,”\u00a0Starcevich told ABC Perth’s Summer Sportstalk.<\/p>\n

“With all the feedback I’ve gotten around my situation, I’m fairly positive that I’m fine and good to go,” he said.<\/p>\n

“All the professionals I spoke to when I had that bit of time off at the start of the year sort of ticked me off and said I was fine.<\/p>\n

“I’ve had no lingering issues or anything, so I’m pretty positive about the whole thing.”<\/p>\n

Starcevich also spoke about his move from the premiership Lions to the wooden spoon Eagles.<\/p>\n

“I thought I’d like to explore it a little bit, and the idea of potentially coming back to Perth and playing, being back among your friends and family, was very appealing,” Starcevich said.<\/p>\n

“The appeal of the young talent that is at the Eagles and starting that climb back up the ladder is definitely a new challenge, sort of a fresh adventure.<\/p>\n
