Limited luxury release for Riverview Collection<\/p>\n

Land Australia has partnered with internationally renowned architect Max Pritchard to deliver a limited release of $1.7 million luxury homes along the banks of the River Torrens.<\/p>\n

The Riverview Collection is the final stage of Riverside \u2014 a $58 million gated residential community that features 102 homes along the River Torrens Linear Park five kilometres west of the CBD in Allenby Gardens.<\/p>\n

Pritchard said each home would feature two to three living spaces, three to four bedrooms and have a \u201cspacious feel throughout.\u201d<\/p>\n

Free online AI tool for businesses<\/p>\n

The engineering team from the Australian Institute for Machine Learning has launched a free online tool that would allow businesses to incorporate Artificial Intelligence into their operations.<\/p>\n

The AI Roadmap Generator offers an individualised plan to assist business owners to understand AI opportunities, assess AI readiness for organisations and create strategies for AI implementation.<\/p>\n

Assistant Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, Defence and Space Industries Michael Brown said more local companies would use AI to streamline business processes.<\/p>\n

\u201cSouth Australia is building a strong reputation for its growing digital economy, this tool is yet another step towards preparing local businesses and organisations to use AI to their benefits,\u201d Brown said.<\/p>\n

Food and Beverage Industry Awards finalists revealed<\/p>\n

The finalists for this year\u2019s South Australian Premier\u2019s Food and Beverage Industry Awards have been announced by Food South Australia.<\/p>\n

The awards celebrate innovation, sustainability and growth from both metropolitan and regional South Australian businesses.<\/p>\n

An independent panel of judges is set to judge this year\u2019s finalists across 18 categories, including a New Product, Emerging Business and Innovation award.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese awards highlight the businesses and individuals setting benchmarks in innovation, quality and sustainability. I congratulate this year\u2019s finalists and look forward to celebrating their achievements,\u201d Premier Peter Malinauskas said.<\/p>\n

Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre on November 14.<\/p>\n

Freeman Wauchope to celebrate 100 years of timber supply<\/p>\n

Fourth generation family-owned SA timber supplier and timber roof truss manufacturer Freeman Wauchope is set to celebrate its 100th year of business.<\/p>\n

The Camden Park company has delivered building supplies for SA since 1925 and has witnessed the technological advancement of engineered timber products which continue to improve building material quality.<\/p>\n

Freeman Wauchope said business was \u201cas healthy as it has ever been\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe staff we have at present are the best and are instrumental in our success and longevity and I thank them for their commitment to excellence,\u201d Managing Director David Thomas said.<\/p>\n

Mick O\u2019Shea\u2019s Hotel in Hackham hosted its \u2018Locals Launch Weekend\u2019 event with live music, competitions and giveaways over the weekend to celebrate its re-opening following renovations.<\/p>\n

The renovations include a revamped beer garden, a large playground for kids and an expanded Pavilion function room.<\/p>\n

The Locals Launch Weekend was hosted in the new beer garden with its 85-inch screen for sports and new stage for live music on display.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur vision was to create a place where everyone feels welcome, whether it\u2019s a family lunch in the bistro, a night out with friends, or an afternoon of live sport in the beer garden,\u201d Venue Manager Michael Davey said.<\/p>\n

1414 Degrees lands new licence<\/p>\n

Tonsley-based 1414 Degrees acquired an exclusive worldwide licence for silicon nanoparticle technology (SiNTL) to be used in lithium-ion batteries anodes.<\/p>\n

1414 Degrees\u2019 acquisition of SiNTL \u2014 a patented nanotechnology developed at George Washington University in Washington, D.C \u2014 would enable advancements in performance for next-generation lithium-ion batteries.<\/p>\n

Executive Chairman Dr Kevin Moriarty said the acquisition would allow 1414 Degrees to move beyond thermal energy storage and into the global battery market.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor shareholders, this represents not only diversification but the potential for significant value creation in line with global demand for next-generation lithium-ion batteries.\u201d<\/p>\n

SiNTL technology could be used in batteries across multiple markets including electronic vehicles, renewable energy storage, consumer electronics and aerospace industries.<\/p>\n

1414 Degrees expects the global silicon anode battery market to grow from US$536.5 million in 2025 to US$20.8 billion by 2034.<\/p>\n

SA winners of Telstra Best of Business Awards announced<\/p>\n

The South Australian winners of the 2025 Telstra Best of Business Awards have been selected from over 20,000 nationwide nominations.<\/p>\n

The Awards have celebrated small and medium-sized businesses across Australia for over 30 years.<\/p>\n

Businesses were judged based on its impact to Australia\u2019s economic sustainability, community contribution and progressive culture contribution.<\/p>\n

Telstra Business Group Executive Amanda Hutton said the state winners had shown \u201coutstanding passion, innovation and commitment to their cause.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nSouth Australian lobster exports reach new high<\/p>\n

SA lobster exports have increased by $54.6 million in the last 12 months following the removal of Chinese trade restrictions and a $475,000 Seafood Export Growth Program by the State Government.<\/p>\n

Latest trade data shows China was SA\u2019s top lobster market, having bought over $64 million worth of premium seafood since the four-year live lobster restrictions were lifted in December.<\/p>\n

The Seafood Export Growth Program provided funding for marketing campaigns in China and Japan in addition to access for seafood businesses to meet with key international buyers.<\/p>\n

The state\u2019s total seafood exports is approaching $250 million \u2014 an increase of more than 60 per cent in the past year \u2014 with Japan the largest seafood export market.<\/p>\n
