{"id":209364,"date":"2025-10-13T04:44:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T04:44:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/209364\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T04:44:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T04:44:12","slug":"mphs-staff-member-dies-of-heart-attack-while-cycling-alone-in-kuala-kubu-bharu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/209364\/","title":{"rendered":"MPHS staff member dies of heart attack while cycling alone in Kuala Kubu Bharu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 \u2014 A staff member of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) died after reportedly suffering a heart attack while cycling alone in front of the Caltex Batu 30 petrol station on the Kuala Lumpur\u2013Ipoh Road, Kuala Kubu Bharu, yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Utusan Malaysia reported that police received information from the public at 11.15am about a man found unconscious at the location.<\/p>\n<p>Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent Ibrahim Husin, said preliminary investigations found that the 39-year-old victim was cycling alone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExamination of the body found no external injuries, signs of a struggle, or elements of criminal activity,\u201d he said in a statement today.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the body was sent to the Forensic Unit of Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was a heart attack.
