{"id":211129,"date":"2025-10-13T21:25:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T21:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/211129\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T21:25:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T21:25:10","slug":"yungblud-announces-2026-australia-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/211129\/","title":{"rendered":"Yungblud Announces 2026 Australia Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yungblud <a href=\"https:\/\/au.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/looks-like-yungblud-is-about-to-announce-that-australia-tour-hes-been-teasing-85297\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">has officially announced<\/a> he is bringing his Idols world tour to Australia in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The English star will hit the country in January, with stops confirmed in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.<\/p>\n<p>The tour comes in support of his June-released fourth studio album, Idols, which hit No. 1 in his home country and No. 4 in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>  Love Music?<\/p>\n<p class=\"observer-desc mb-2\"> Get your daily dose of everything happening in Australian\/New Zealand music and globally.<\/p>\n<p> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/spinner.gif\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes just months after the Doncaster-born singer-songwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/au.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/yungblud-australia-tour-bludfest-78314\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">told\u00a0Rolling Stone AU\/NZ that he plans to return Down Under<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a tour in the works because we\u2019re doing a world tour [for the album]. Obviously we\u2019re going to America, and Europe, and the UK, but after that we definitely have plans to come to Australia,\u201d Yungblud said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Not only does he have \u201cmassive plans\u201d for the Australia run, but he also wants to bring Bludfest our way. However, there is yet to be any update on the festival\u2019s Australian debut.<\/p>\n<p>Launched in the UK last year, Yungblud created the festival in an attempt to make music \u201cmore accessible,\u201d with ticket prices capped at \u00a349.50 ($AU103).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know the Australian festival market has been struggling, so I really want to try my best to implement a new idea with Bludfest because it worked in the UK.
