Former two-division Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) titleholder Henry Cejudo will take on rising Bantamweight prospect Payton Talbott on the final pay-per-view (PPV) of the year, UFC 323<\/a>, set for Dec. 7, 2025, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC CEO Dana White announced the news earlier today<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, my next fight is my last fight,\u201d Cejudo told Burn Factory<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve got a lot going on in my life. I\u2019ve got kids, my podcast business. I don\u2019t want my kids to get to the age where they know that daddy fights for a living.\u201d<\/p>\n Cejudo recalled a powerful moment that helped solidify his decision.<\/p>\n \u201cI was there when Kamaru [Usman] got knocked out, and I remember looking to my right and seeing his daughters just cry,\u201d Cejudo added. \u201cI was like, \u2018I\u2019m out.\u2019 I\u2019ve set myself up pretty good to where I want this to be my last fight\u2026 I\u2019ve got to get a W, man.\u201d<\/p>\n Cejudo (16-5) enters his final bout on the longest skid of his storied career, dropping three straight. In his most recent outing, he suffered a technical decision loss to Song Yadong at UFC Seattle<\/a> after an accidental eye poke<\/a> left him unable to continue (watch highlights<\/a>).<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Talbott (10-1) bounced back strong at UFC 317, defeating Felipe Lima by unanimous decision after suffering his first career loss<\/a> to Raoni Barcelos at UFC 311, in which many labeled him a fraud<\/a>.
