On Monday, the comedian took to social media to announce that he was back in hospital with more lung issues.<\/p>\n
“The experts are draining a coupla litres of lung fluid into a goon bag for me. Then it’s party time again,” Hughes wrote.<\/p>\n
Hughes’s greatest concern in hospital appeared to be a constant beeping noise as he lay in a bed.<\/p>\n
In a separate post, Hughes discussed the dismay he had at the persistent noise.<\/p>\n
“You know what kills you about hospitals?” he said.<\/p>\n
“Not the risk of infection. It’s just the beeping. Someone shut the fridge, for f***’s sake.”<\/p>\n
Despite being on the receiving end of several bumps in the match, Hughes said he believed the main damage came from a collision with 2006 Norm Smith medallist Embley.<\/p>\n
“I just want to say that I am so sorry for my little thump on you last night that has obviously caused so much damage, you look so sore right now,” Embley said after Hughes was hospitalised the first time.<\/p>\n
