Sydney is reportedly prepared to offer Will Hayward<\/a>, Ollie Florent, Pick 11 and their 2026 first-round selection for Carlton’s Charlie Curnow<\/a> and a late pick.<\/p>\n

Curnow has long been linked with a sea change, and the Swans, among Geelong and Gold Coast, were deemed the likeliest of destinations given their mixture of suitable players and picks.<\/p>\n

The Cats offered a historic three first-round selections last week that were swiftly denied by Carlton, who are in the market for established talent.<\/p>\n

According to 9 News reporter Tom Morris, the Swans are prepared to part with two first-round picks and contracted pair Hayward and Florent for Curnow, who would move north along with at least one later selection, which is believed to be Pick 22 (Jack Silvagni<\/a> compensation).<\/p>\n

The Blues spearhead was pictured with Swans coach Dean Cox\u00a0at Moore Park<\/a> on Monday afternoon ahead of a wider discussion with the club’s key figures over a desired partnership.<\/p>\n

Hayward was linked with the Ikon Park club 18 months ago,<\/a> given that he considered a switch last year before re-signing at the Swans.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old penned a five-year extension, taking him until the end of 2029.<\/p>\n

The interest in Florent also comes as the dashing utility fell out of favour under Dean Cox<\/a>, playing 16 games in 2025; his second-lowest tally behind his maiden campaign at the club.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old hails from Melbourne and was recently advised to explore his trade options,<\/a> albeit under a contract that also expires in 2029.<\/p>\n

However, it was revealed earlier by The Age\u00a0that Carlton had a bid of their own rejected, with the Blues asking the Cats if second-year defender\u00a0Connor O’Sullivan<\/a>\u00a0could be part of a package that saw Curnow head the other way to Kardinia Park.<\/p>\n

The publication’s report reveals that Geelong rebuffed the Blues’ play for the young tall, who finished top five in this year’s Rising Star voting following a 25-game season.<\/p>\n
