Australia’s Cherneka Johnson (18-2) will defend her undisputed bantamweight title on the undercard of Jake Paul’s fight with Gervonta “Tank” Davis next month.<\/p>\n

Johnson is Australia’s only undisputed champion in the four-belt era and she’ll look to make more history when putting the straps on the line against Canada’s Amanda Galle (12-0-1) at the Kaseya Center in Miami on November 14 (Nov. 15 in Australia).<\/p>\n

“Neekz” got the call to face Galle on the card after unified super bantamweight champ Ellie Scotney was injured, seeing her scheduled bout with Mayelli Flores postponed.<\/p>\n

Johnson will now look to make the first defence of the titles she unified when defeating Shurretta Metcalf in July this year.<\/p>\n

The New Zealand-born 30-year-old, who is now based on the Gold Coast, is signed with Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, making her debut with the company against Metcalf on the Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 event at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

Just as that bout was, her fight with Galle will be broadcast to a massive global audience on Netflix, with the Paul vs. Davis headliner sure to attract plenty of eyeballs.<\/p>\n

“Johnson is set to become Australia’s first-ever defending undisputed champion in the four-belt era, while Canada’s top 118lb contender Amanda Galle has the opportunity to make a global name for herself and become the first Canadian born undisputed champion,” said Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder and CEO of Most Valuable Promotions.<\/p>\n

“Even with the short notice, this will be a non-stop all action fight with both fighters ready to make a statement and go to war on Friday, November 14.<\/p>\n
