He will be limited to 50 games with the Lakers proper, unless the team opts to promote him to its 15-man standard roster.<\/p>\n More news:\u00a0Lakers Stunningly Disrespected by NBA General Managers in New Survey<\/a> <\/p>\n Across seven Summer League games, Manon averaged 9.0 points on .442\/.286\/.676, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assist, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks in 17.1 minutes per. But he hadn’t gotten off the bench at all in the preseason yet, and now we have a better sense as to why.<\/p>\n Following a successful All-Ivy career at Cornell, Manon used his fifth and final season of collegiate eligibility to transfer to a bigger program at Vanderbilt in 2024-25. In 33 games, he averaged 6.6 points on .533\/.235\/.783 shooting splits, 1.7 steals, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks per. <\/p>\n Joining Manon in the Lakers’ three two-way slots this year are returning center Christian Koloko and combo guard Nick Smith Jr. <\/p>\n Koloko, 25, returned to the NBA last year and a season-long blood clot absence. In 37 games with the Lakers, the 7-footer out of Arizona averaged 2.4 points on 60.6 percent shooting from the field and 71.4 percent shooting from the charity stripe, 2.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per.<\/p>\n Smith was selected with the No. 27 pick by the Charlotte Hornets out of Arkansas in the 2023 NBA Draft.
