You’d think Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev will have something to say about that, though.

But, in an event with no ATP Tour points at stake, what are these players actually playing for? Well, it turns out there’s a massive prize pot on offer that’ll boost everyone’s career earnings.

Photo by Richard Pelham/Getty ImagesPotential $6m prize on offer for Six Kings Slam

Incredibly, all six players involved in the Six Kings Slam 2025 tournament will receive $1.5 million just for taking part.

This lucrative payout does mean that, even if a player wins their quarter-final and semi-final match, they won’t receive more than the person they beat.

However, the eventual winner of the tournament will be awarded a further $4.5 million in prize money, taking their total earnings to $6 million overall.

With question marks over the fitness of the competitors this week, it will be interesting to see who can fight through the pain to grab that golden carrot being dangled in front of them.

Photo by Shi Tang/Getty ImagesHow much have ATP’s top players earned in 2025?

Here’s a little look at how much each of the Six Kings Slam competitors have earned this year so far. Unsurprisingly, Alcaraz leads the way with $16 million in prize money in 2025.

Jannik Sinner is behind with $12.3 million, but given the pair’s dominance this season, there’s a huge gap between the top two and the best of the rest.

Player2025 earningsCarlos Alcaraz$16mJannik Sinner$12.3mNovak Djokovic$4.99mAlexander Zverev$4.59mTaylor Fritz$4.59mStefanos Tsitsipas$2.03mData via live-tennis

Djokovic has earned just under $5 million, while both Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz have pocketed $4.59 million this year.

For Stefanos Tsitsipas, this tournament will see him almost double his prize money for the year at the very least. Before the Six Kings Slam, the Greek star had earned just over $2 million this year. He now has the chance to earn three times his annual prize money in one tournament if he can pull off some shock victories.

Follow us on Google Discover The action in Riyadh gets underway this week with top tennis stars battling…

[565
64,63,130576,85,747
0":"post-212538","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-tennis","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-six-kings-slam","11":"tag-sports","12":"tag-tennis
["GET
