\n\tShowmax<\/a> is expanding its hit \u201cReal Housewives<\/a>\u201d franchise with \u201cThe Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa,\u201d bringing together standout cast members from South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria for a Brazilian getaway.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe latest installment follows the success of \u201cThe Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: South Africa,\u201d which ranked as one of Showmax\u2019s most-watched series in 2024. The new series assembles 10 housewives from across the continent for what producers are calling a celebration of Pan-African sisterhood and glamor.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom \u201cThe Real Housewives of Durban,\u201d the cast includes Annie Mthembu (Seasons 1-3), Angel Ndlela (Seasons 4-5) and Jojo Robinson, who has appeared in four consecutive seasons since joining in Season 2, making her the most experienced Housewife in the lineup.<\/p>\n

\n\tJohannesburg\u2019s representatives are Madam Evodia Mogase and Christall Kay, two original cast members who became the franchise\u2019s first breakout stars in Africa. Madam Evodia starred in Season 1, while Kay appeared in the debut season, returned for Season 2 and featured in last year\u2019s \u201cThe Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: South Africa.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEast African representation comes from Nairobi with Dr. Catherine Masitsa (Dr. C) and Zena Nyambu. Dr. C has appeared in both seasons of the Kenyan franchise, while Nyambu joined as a full-time cast member in Season 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tRounding out the cast are Nigeria\u2019s Mariam Timmer from \u201cThe Real Housewives of Lagos,\u201d who has appeared in all three seasons, and Princess Jecoco from \u201cThe Real Housewives of Abuja,\u201d who debuted in that show\u2019s first season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u2018The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa\u2019 is more than just a reality show, it\u2019s a celebration of African womanhood in all its power, diversity and glamour,\u201d says executive producer Graeme Swanepoel. \u201cFor the first time, we\u2019re bringing together iconic housewives from across the continent to share their worlds, their stories and their sisterhood. It\u2019s unapologetically Pan-African, women-led and bursting with the kind of energy and authenticity that makes Africa unlike anywhere else on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe series is produced by GOAT Productions, which previously produced \u201cUnfollowed,\u201d \u201cUntied\u201d and the South African Film and Television Award-winning \u201cLife With Kelly Khumalo\u201d Season 3.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip\u201d format launched in the U.S. in 2021 with four seasons on Peacock, produced by Shed Media. \u201cThe Real Housewives\u201d and \u201cThe Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip\u201d formats are distributed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats, a division of Universal Studio Group.<\/p>\n
