F1 news: Christian Horner \u2018played a character\u2019 at Red Bull<\/p>\n
Susie Wolff has said Christian Horner \u2013 a long-time professional nemesis of her husband Toto \u2013 has always \u201cplayed a character very well\u201d, and said the internal investigation by Red Bull into allegations about his behaviour did divert positive attention away from the burgeoning F1 Academy.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the Sunday Times, Wolff said,\u00a0\u201cChristian was supportive of F1 Academy and for that I\u2019ll always be grateful.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a real shame for the sport \u2013 the whole drama that was created with the allegations.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were getting so much positive momentum with F1 Academy and that all kicked off and suddenly everyone wanted to interview me about that [the Horner saga].<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was someone that played a character very well.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I do think that incident maybe wasn\u2019t the best for the image of the sport and showed that we\u2019ve still got work to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

People can have their opinions on [whether] what I do is good or not.<\/p>\n \u201cBut that\u2019s something I won\u2019t allow to happen, that people attack my integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n
