Marco Bezzecchi has described the moment when he hit the back of Marc Marquez\u2019s Ducati in the Indonesian MotoGP, causing a heavy accident that left the newly crowned champion with shoulder injuries.<\/p>\n
Bezzecchi\u2019s stunning Mandalika weekend – pole position, then a last lap victory over Fermin Aldeguer in the Sprint – turned to disaster after another bad start in the grand prix.<\/p>\n
In his \u2018Simply The Bez\u2019 blog, the Aprilia <\/a>rider – who missed his usual post-race media duties to undergo medical checks – wrote: \u201cOn Sunday, I was fired up.<\/p>\n \u201cI had the pace to fight for the win. But I got off to a poor start and immediately got stuck in the pack.<\/p>\n \u201cWe reached Sector 2 – the one where I\u2019m usually really strong\u2026 Maybe too strong, because suddenly I found Marc\u2019s rear wheel in front of me – and I hit him.<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n \u201cWe both ran off the track. He went down immediately, I crashed shortly after.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a nasty fall.
