\n Clayton Oliver has become a Giant.\n <\/p>\n
CLAYTON Oliver will depart Melbourne, after the club agreed to a trade with GWS on Wednesday night.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Oliver, who has played 205 games across 10 seasons in the red and blue, will head to the GIANTS, with the Dees receiving a future third-round selection in return.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb thanked Oliver for all he has given to the club.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cClayton has had an outstanding career in the red and blue, and we thank him for his contribution over the past decade,\u201d Lamb said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has produced some exceptional football over the journey and played a crucial role throughout the drought-breaking 2021 season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cUltimately, Clayton decided he would like to explore his options during the Trade Period, and we are happy that he has been able to find a new home at the GIANTS.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oliver was selected with pick No.4 in the 2015 AFL Draft and made his debut in Round 1 of the following season. He celebrated his 200-game milestone earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
