<\/a><\/p>\nWith the trade period out of the way, the delisted free agency mechanism will open to further aid the list builds of clubs keen to bring in experienced AFL<\/a> assets.<\/p>\n A range of talented players have been shown the door since the cessation of their respective seasons, with many of those cut from lists good enough for another chance.<\/p>\n Clubs across the competition have areas of their squad to fill away from the draft, with key position players who can have an immediate impact among those list needs.<\/p>\n Young clubs that can afford to take a punt on a delisted free agent and contending sides that can secure some depth at a bargain price will also be shopping.<\/p>\n Here we’ve listed 10 promising delisted free agents and a club that could suit their services.<\/p>\n 1Brandon Ryan<\/p>\n

(Photo by Daniel Pockett\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Carlton<\/p>\n What Ryan can offer is depth as both a key forward and a supporting ruckman, two areas the Blues have undergone change with the departures of Tom De Koning<\/a> and Charlie Curnow<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The loss of De Koning<\/a> has opened up a battle for first-string ruck duties, with Liam Reidy<\/a> to contest with Marc Pittonet<\/a> for that role, but an asset who can sit forward and roll up the field to pinch-hit is needed.<\/p>\n Harry McKay<\/a> was that player this year, but there’s now a greater reliance on his forward craft for the long haul, and the Blues should avoid using him in the middle of the ground.<\/p>\n The Blues also don’t have many tall attackers on their list, having cut Harry Lemmey<\/a>, leaving 192cm forward Brodie Kemp<\/a> as their only other pure target forward outside of McKay and Curnow.<\/p>\n
