LeBron James<\/a> has gotten deeply personal over the last few weeks, sharing a more intimate look at different aspects of his life, from his finances to his marriage. During the latest episode of his wife’s podcast, LeBron got candid with his partner of 23 years about the idea of being single. While the Olympian and 21x NBA<\/a> All-Star was adamant about staying by his wife’s side through thick and thin, he did take a swipe at the new generation of women, slamming them for creating unrealistic expectations for men.<\/p>\n

LeBron James Doesn’t Like Thinking About The Idea Of Him Being Single<\/p>\n

Speaking with his wife, Savannah James, on the “Everybody’s Crazy” podcast, the NBA champion opened up about the idea of him being single.<\/p>\n

“I know I don’t want to be alone, that’s for d-mn sure,” LeBron, 40, said. “If I have to fight, crawl, scratch, bite, whatever to keep mine. I got to keep it. I gotta do what I gotta do. I don’t want to be alone. I’m [from] an only child, single-parent household.”<\/p>\n

LeBron, who began dating his wife during their high school years in Akron, Ohio, reiterated his love for the mother of his children, calling her “amazing.”<\/p>\n

“The next time I’m alone, I’ll be up underneath,” he said.<\/p>\n

As the conversation continued, LeBron shifted gears and took a direct shot at “some [of the] cutthroat, ruthless a-s b-tches out here right now,” adding that he’s seen men close to him crumble over unrealistic expectations placed on them.<\/p>\n

“Listen, I’m in locker rooms,” he said. “It’s a lot of women out here who have now kinda flipped the script. Some homies out here that’s trying to be good, too, and trying to figure it out. Now they’re looking in the mirror saying, ‘D-mn, what did I do wrong?’ Homies, it ain’t you.”<\/p>\n

LeBron James Gets Real About Marriage With Speedy Morman<\/p>\n

And this isn’t the first time LeBron has gotten real about his relationship with his wife, whom he married in 2013. According to a previous report from The Blast<\/a>, LeBron told host Speedy Morman<\/a> on his show “360” that their marriage has never been easy or “picture perfect.”<\/p>\n

“It’s not man,” he said. “I’m gonna be honest. A relationship is never picture perfect.”<\/p>\n

“But if you’re OK with working through the hardships and the adverse moments, then it will make it all worth it, man. We’ve been together since high school, so sh-t ain’t always going to be a bed of roses, man \u2014 in any relationship, let alone someone you’ve been living with for 20 years,” he explained.<\/p>\n

As he went on, LeBron said that open communication is what keeps their marriage in tip-top shape. “Being honest is No. 1, No. 2 is just, like, you have to be OK in being uncomfortable in relationships sometimes.”<\/p>\n

He added, “You can’t always have it your way. You can’t always think, ‘My way or the highway.’ It’s never going to work that way.”<\/p>\n

Savannah shared a similar message during a separate interview, acknowledging the “ebbs and flows in marriage.”<\/p>\n

According to the mother of three, knowing that every couple faces challenges has allowed her to reconsider how she approaches certain topics in her relationship.<\/p>\n

“You never know what people \u2014 or your significant other, for that matter \u2014 are going through. I appreciate that same sentiment,” the media personality explained. “You can’t depend on someone else for your happiness. You have to be happy,” she said.<\/p>\n

During another portion of Savannah’s podcast, LeBron surprised some listeners when he revealed the threat he told his business partners<\/a> early in his career.<\/p>\n

“But for me, like, when I’m talking to my business partners and sh-t like that, financial advisors, you know, accountants, all that type of sh-t,” he said. “My financial advisor, the first thing I told him when he wanted to manage my money was, ‘If you steal my money, bro, or if I’m broke, bro, I’m letting you know, bro, it ain’t going to be good for you,'” the NBA champion said.<\/p>\n

Social media users were stunned by the baller’s statements, with one questioning whether he actually believed he’d lose all of his money.<\/p>\n

“No way will LeBron ever have to start over,” they wrote. “Even if he loses everything, he can go buy a LeBron game-used jersey, then sign it and sell it for 50x.”<\/p>\n
