LAS CRUCES, N.M. \u2013 The NM State women’s golf team closed out the Golf Iconic Classic on Wednesday with a final-round score of 292 (+4), securing a tie for eighth place in the team standings at 870 (+6) overall on a windy day at the New Mexico State University Golf Course. ##NM State##<\/p>\n

\nSenior Alexandria Armendariz<\/a> led the Aggies on the final day, carding a 73 (+1) to finish the tournament at even-par 216 and tied for 15th individually. Sophia Luna<\/a> delivered her best round of the week and the team’s best round of the day with an even-par 72, climbing 28 spots into a tie for 46th at 222 (+6).

\nRylee Salome<\/a> continued her consistent play, posting a 73 (+1) to finish at 218 (+2) and in a tie for 30th. Isabel Laulhe posted a 74 (+2) to end at 217 (+1), which left her in a tie for 22nd, while Emma Thompson<\/a> rounded out the team with a 79 (+7), finishing at 227 (+11).

\nIn individual competition, Frederika Rychtarikova<\/a> carded a 73 (+1) for the second straight day, finishing at 221 (+5) and tied for 43rd. Camille Pazouki<\/a> posted a 75 (+3) to end at 227 (+11), while Marley Moncada<\/a> shot 82 (+10) to finish at 232 (+16).

\nBoise State claimed the team title with a score of 851 (-13), led by individual champion Leia Chung who shot 70-68-69 for the week to finish at 207 (-9).
