Lara Trump<\/a> says she\u2019s willing to showcase her own, um, vocal stylings next year for those who opt out of Bad Bunny<\/a>\u2019s Super Bowl halftime performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode<\/a> of her \u201cRight View With Lara Trump\u201d podcast, President Donald Trump\u2019s daughter-in-law addressed the \u201cAll American Halftime Show\u201d that is meant to compete with the big-game broadcast on NBC.<\/p>\n

Turning Point USA, the right-wing political group founded by slain activist Charlie Kirk<\/a>, unveiled its plans<\/a> for an alternative, MAGA-themed halftime show last week in response to the NFL\u2019s selection of Bad Bunny as next year\u2019s official halftime headliner.<\/p>\n

On her podcast,\u00a0Lara Trump said she\u2019d heard from \u201ca lot of owners of NFL teams\u201d who are angered by the choice of Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy winner who performs predominantly in Spanish and is an outspoken critic<\/a> of the Trump administration\u2019s crackdown on immigrants.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what the heck the NFL was thinking with this one,\u00a0but I can tell there are a lot of people who are not happy about it,\u201d\u00a0she said.\u00a0\u201cThe great news is we don\u2019t need the NFL. We don\u2019t need any of these woke losers to perform, we can have our own performance, so shoutout to Turning Point for coming up with their own halftime show, I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to a listener\u2019s question regarding who she\u2019d most like to see perform at the Turning Point event,\u00a0Lara Trump named country artists Chris Janson and Chris Stapleton<\/a>, as well as Canadian rapper Tom MacDonald, before suggesting … herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what? You can throw Lara Trump in there,\u201d she said. \u201cYeah, that\u2019s right.\u00a0Imagine how upset people on the left would be if something like that happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt sort of makes me wanna offer myself up,\u201d she added. \u201cI have not been asked, but I\u2019m gonna offer it right now! So let\u2019s see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lara Trump, who is married to the president\u2019s son Eric Trump<\/a>,\u00a0has made no secret of her musical aspirations.\u00a0She\u2019s released a handful of singles, the most recent being \u201cEyes of God,\u201d which dropped earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Her most-streamed track on Spotify, however, is her infamous cover<\/a> of the 1989 smash \u201cI Won\u2019t Back Down,\u201d originally performed by late rock musician Tom Petty.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Petty\u2019s family issued a cease-and-desist order<\/a> to bar Donald Trump from using the song on the campaign trail. That didn\u2019t stop Lara Trump from releasing her cover in 2023, and from performing it<\/a>\u00a0at her father-in-law\u2019s Westchester, New York, golf club earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Footage of that performance went viral, and judging<\/a> by the responses it garnered online<\/a>, it seems few are eager for an encore.<\/p>\n
