Iga Swiatek has enjoyed another successful season on the WTA Tour, adding three more titles to her name, including a sixth Grand Slam. <\/p>\n

In July, Swiatek won the Wimbledon title<\/a>, becoming the first Pole in history to emerge victorious in singles at the All England Club.<\/p>\n

She quickly followed up her triumph in South West London with her second tour-level crown of the year at the Cincinnati Open, which marked the 11th WTA<\/a> 1000 title of her career.<\/p>\n

Though Swiatek\u2019s level has dropped slightly<\/a> during the Asian swing, most likely due to fatigue, she still managed to go all the way at the Korea Open, winning the tournament while dropping just one set.<\/p>\n

With just a handful of events left in the WTA season, Swiatek<\/a> has, to date, tallied 61 wins to 15 losses and remains the world number two. <\/p>\n

Having qualified for the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Swiatek has now revealed how she plans to finish her 2025 campaign after the year-end competition. <\/p>\n

Iga Swiatek announces her plans for the end of the season <\/p>\n

In a post on social media, Swiatek confirmed she will represent Poland in the Billie Jean King Cup<\/a> playoffs in November. <\/p>\n

The six-time Grand Slam champion did not participate in the annual tournament this year, with Poland ultimately bowing out in the qualifying rounds, which took place in April. <\/p>\n

Swiatek will play for her country in the playoffs in Gorzow Wielkopolski, where Poland will face both Romania and New Zealand. <\/p>\n

She said on Instagram: \u201cSee you in Gorz\u00f3w Wielkopolski! I am happy to officially share this news \u2013 I will be playing in the Billie Jean King Cup playoffs.<\/p>\n

It will be a great end to the season \u2013 playing for my country and in my country, in front of Polish fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a team that will certainly give its all. I hope to see you there!\u201d<\/p>\n

The reason Iga Swiatek did not play in the Billie Jean King Cup this year<\/p>\n

Swiatek\u2019s decision not to play for Poland at the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup was made after her Miami Open campaign. <\/p>\n

There, Swiatek lost to wildcard Alexandra Eala<\/a> in the quarterfinals, suffering a straight-sets loss to the Filipina. <\/p>\n

She said in a statement: \u201cI always represent my country with pride. I played everything there was to play for the country last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow it\u2019s time for more balance, focusing on myself and my training.\u201d<\/p>\n

Without Swiatek, Poland managed to beat Switzerland 3-0 in the qualifying rounds, but fell to Ukraine 0-3. <\/p>\n
