Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned former girlfriend<\/a> of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>, finished 1 1\/2 days of interviews Friday with U.S. Justice Department officials, answering questions \u201cabout 100 different people,\u201d her attorney said. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence at a low-security federal prison in Tallahassee after being convicted three years ago of helping Epstein \u2013 a wealthy, well-connected financier \u2013 sexually abuse underage girls.<\/p>\n

Questions over President Donald Trump\u2019s past ties with Epstein<\/a> and secret files related to him<\/a> have dogged administration officials<\/a>, including some officials who once stoked conspiracy theories and now say there is nothing further to disclose.<\/p>\n

Trump on Friday ducked questions about the possibility of his pardoning Maxwell.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re making a very big thing over something that\u2019s not a big thing,\u201d Trump told reporters<\/a> on the tarmac after landing in Scotland. He said the media should be focused on other people with alleged links to Epstein.<\/p>\n
