On Thursday, Chris Haynes reported that it is a mild hamstring strain.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis sustained a mild hamstring strain and he\u2019ll miss the preseason finale vs. Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, league sources tell me.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChrisBHaynes\/status\/1978957433457234234?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">October 16, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>No official medical update has been released by the Kings.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/diseases\/17039-hamstring-injury\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cmild\u201d hamstring strain is defined as a Grade 1 injury<\/a>, the least severe, which is a good thing. Last season, on March 1, <a href=\"https:\/\/kingsherald.com\/articles\/injury-news-domantas-sabonis-suffers-grade-1-hamstring-strain-will-be-re-evaluated-in-1-week\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sabonis suffered a grade 1 left hamstring injury<\/a> in a win over the Houston Rockets. He didn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/s\/sabondo01\/gamelog\/2025\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">play in a game again until March 14<\/a>.
