Ryan Donato<\/a> and Tyler Bertuzzi<\/a> scored, and Spencer Knight<\/a> made 30 saves for the Blackhawks (2-2-2).<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re on the back half of a back-to-back, we go up 2-0, that\u2019s when you just can\u2019t give them life, and I thought we got passive in the second period, way too passive as the period went on,\u201d Chicago coach Jeff Blashill said.<\/p>\n

Donato gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal at 12:41 of the first period. Andre Burakovsky<\/a> skated to the bottom of the left face-off circle and passed to Donato, who tapped the puck in from the side of the crease.<\/p>\n

Bertuzzi made it 2-0 at 19:14 when he put the rebound of a shot by Sam Rinzel<\/a> past Lankinen, who had lost his stick.<\/p>\n

“I thought we created a little bit and had our scoring chances,\u201d Bertuzzi said. \u201cThings are going to happen, people are going to be moved around so early in the season that everyone is going to get a chance with each other.”<\/p>\n

Vancouver cut the lead to 2-1 on a power-play goal by DeBrusk at 6:49 of the second period.
