Day three of racing at the\u00a02025 UCI Paracycling Track World Championships<\/a> marked standout performances for\u00a0Team USA, highlighted by a\u00a0bronze medal\u00a0in the Men\u2019s Tandem Individual Pursuit and a\u00a0top-five finish\u00a0in the Men\u2019s C4 Scratch Race.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Individual Pursuit\u00a0<\/p>\n

Branden Walton\u00a0(Livermore, Calif.) and\u00a0Ian Anderson\u00a0(Fort Collins, Colo.) teamed up for the first time at an international event, taking on the\u00a0MB (Tandem) Individual Pursuit. The pair delivered a powerful ride in qualifying, clocking\u00a04:13.761\u00a0to place\u00a0third\u00a0and earn a spot in the bronze medal final against\u00a0Poland.<\/p>\n

In the evening round, Walton and Anderson came out strong, maintaining control from the start and making the\u00a0catch halfway through the race\u00a0to secure the\u00a0win and the bronze medal.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Scratch Race<\/p>\n

Jason Macom\u00a0(Colorado Springs, Colo.) lined up for a 40-lap, 10k effort among a field of 21 starters in the Men\u2019s C4 Scratch Race. From the start, he positioned himself well near the front, reading the race smartly and responding to the right moves to stay in contention. With 12 laps to go, a massive crash brought the race to a halt, but Macom avoided the chaos. Once racing resumed, the remaining riders went full gas from the restart. Macom held his position near the leaders and, when the bell rang for the final lap, he was just a few bike lengths off the front group of four. Digging deep in the closing meters, he powered to the line to finish fourth after a well-executed race.<\/p>\n

Hannah Chadwick (Arcata, Calif.) and pilot Liz Stevenson (Rochester Hills, Mich.) took on the WB (Tandem) Kilo, posting a 1:10.971 in the morning qualifier to rank sixth heading into the evening final. The duo continued their consistency, clocking 1:11.562 to secure sixth overall, capping off another strong day for Team USA.<\/p>\n
