\nIn their first match playing together in an official match, Azuma and Nakanishi held off Grand Canyon’s Andreas Loizas and Tristan Berard by a break, 8-6 to remain in the hunt for the Regional title. Visaya and Nakanishi will take on UCLA’s Rudy Quan and Aadarsh Tripathi on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. HT.

\nUH’s other doubles duo in action\u2014Timothy Li<\/a> and Kent Mueller<\/a>\u2014fell to UC Santa Barbara’s Lorenzo Brunkow and Diogo Morais, 8-2.

\nIn the singles Main Draw, Visaya battled hard, but fell just short. Visaya evened the match at a set apiece after dropping the first set, but was edged out by a break in the final frame to Arizona’s Cole Stelse, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.
