\n\tSabrina Carpenter<\/a>, the host as well as musical guest for this week\u2019s \u201cSaturday Night Live<\/a>,\u201d used her monologue to riff on her risque image, suggesting that she wants to be known for more than just being sexually provocative, while of course joking that she indeed has a one-track mind.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNow since I\u2019m here, I want to clear up some misconceptions people have about me,\u201d Carpenter said. \u201cEveryone thinks of me as this, like, horndog pop star, but there\u2019s really so much more to me. I\u2019m not just horny. I\u2019m also turned on and I\u2019m sexually charged. And I love to read. My favorite book is the encyclopedia. It\u2019s so big and it\u2019s hard\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pop star showed the controversial cover photo of her recent \u201cMan\u2019s Best Friend\u201d album. \u201cSome people got a little freaked out by the cover. I\u2019m not sure why,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was just this me on all fours with an unseen figure pulling my hair,. But what people don\u2019t realize is, that\u2019s just how they cropped it. If you zoom out, it\u2019s clearly a picture from the 50th anniversary special of Bowen (Yang) helping me up by the hair\u2026\u201d The image zoomed out further: \u201c\u2026after Martin Short shoved me out of the buffet line.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn any case, Carpenter avowed, \u201cThere is a real person underneath all the sparkles and the wigs and the corsets. And another thing you might not know about me is that I love to interact with the audience during my show.\u201d She took to the crowd, interacting with a young man who identified himself as Will from Maryland \u2014 both of which, naturally, turned her on. \u201cOoh, what a sexy, unusual place. See, I love talking to normal people. They\u2019re so fascinating when they\u2019re real like you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBut when she asked what the audience member did for a living, and he answered \u201cventure capital,\u201d she quickly moved on.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe last one thing I like to do at my concerts is arrest someone for being hot. So who here can I arrest tonight?\u201d Kenan Thompson came out with a pair of pink handcuffs, saying he was arresting her not for being hot but \u201cfor falsely impersonating an officer 200 times at your concerts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThompson said he was actually there to get a Cameo for his daughter, only to have Carpenter tell him that would cost $200,000\u2033 \u2014 and while he moved on, she announced that \u201cif anyone else wants one, find me on Venmo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe monologue followed an opening Domingo sketch in which Carpenter was one of several women at a birthday party describing a bachelorette-style trip to Nashville while singing spoof versions of Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d and Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cAbracadabra.\u201d<\/p>\n
