The Rice men’s tennis team saw its run at the ITA Texas Regional come to an end Sunday in College Station.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Porras<\/a> led Rice with an impressive run to the round of 16. He opened the day with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Texas A&M’s Tiago Pires before falling to Connor Van Schalkwyk of Baylor 6-2, 6-2.<\/p>\n

The Owls will compete in the American Conference Individual Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from Oct. 23-26.
