Veteran prop Siosiua Taukeiaho is set to extend his NRL career, with reports indicating the Manly Sea Eagles<\/a> are close to finalising a one-year contract extension that would see him remain at the club through the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old front-rower returned to the NRL this year after two seasons in the English Super League with the Catalans Dragons<\/a>, joining Manly on a train-and-trial deal before earning a full-time contract.<\/p>\n

Taukeiaho has since become a regular in the Sea Eagles\u2019 forward rotation, featuring in 19 games in 2025 and adding valuable experience and toughness to Anthony Seibold\u2019s pack.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood Taukeiaho has been negotiating his new deal personally following the retirement of his long-time manager in 2023.<\/p>\n

After overcoming a series of injuries during his time in France, the Tongan international has found consistency again in the NRL \u2014 a key factor behind Manly\u2019s desire to keep him on board for another year.<\/p>\n

Sources suggest both parties are keen to finalise the extension soon, with an announcement expected in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
