{"id":227484,"date":"2025-10-20T12:56:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T12:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/227484\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T12:56:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T12:56:09","slug":"how-one-ducati-motogp-rider-tackled-the-bikes-stability-issues-in-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/227484\/","title":{"rendered":"How one Ducati MotoGP rider tackled the bike\u2019s stability issues in Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VR46 MotoGP rider Fabio Di Giannantonio says he had \u201cthe best Ducati, best team, best rider\u201d combination to \u201cadapt\u201d to Ducati\u2019s stability woes at the Australian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Factory Ducati rider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/911999\/francesco-bagnaia\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pecco Bagnaia<\/a>\u2019s Phillip Island weekend was impacted severely by instability on his GP25.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the weekend, his bike was seen to be shaking in a straight line, with Bagnaia second-to-last in the sprint and crashing out of 12th in the grand prix.<\/p>\n<p>As he struggled on his GP25, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/995149\/fabio-di-giannantonio\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fabio Di Giannantonio<\/a> proved more competitive, with the VR46 rider coming from 10th on the grid to second in the grand prix.<\/p>\n<p>Asked why he didn\u2019t struggle as much with stability on his GP25 compared to Bagnaia, Di Giannantonio explained: \u201cWell, the bike in Phillip Island moves a lot, actually.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know about the others; I was not on their bikes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut in my case, for sure, we started the weekend with the bike moving a lot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I was able to go fast anyway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen I spoke a lot with my rider coach, who said, \u2018In Phillip Island, the bike has to move.
