Former NRL<\/a> player Kane Elgey and his wife, influencer Georgie Elgey\ufeff are mourning the loss<\/a> of their child during pregnancy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Georgie took to Instagram<\/a> to post a tribute, sharing a black-and-white photo of her \ufeffpregnant belly, as well as the baby’s footprints.<\/p>\n

“Ziggy Blu Elgey \ud83d\udc94 16.10.25,” she wrote, “Our sweet angel boy was born sleeping at 20 weeks and more perfect than we could have ever imagined \ud83d\udd4a\ufe0f<\/p>\n

“He shares his middle name with his big brother Tally \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffb Our boys were so connected from the beginning.<\/p>\n

“Tally was the one who told us there was a baby in my belly before we even knew, and that he was a boy.<\/p>\n

“Our hearts are completely broken that he is not here with our family but we hope he knew how loved he was. Forever our baby boy \ud83e\ude75”<\/p>\n

Many friends and fans shared their condolences.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“I’m so sorry my love. So devastating. Sending all the love. Forever your baby boy,” said influencer Georgie Stevenson.<\/p>\n

NRL star Jahrome Hughes told the couple, “I love you guys so much.”<\/p>\n

The Gold Coast couple share two children, a three-year-old son Tally Blu, and a one-year-old daughter Pipi Rose. They wed in 2020.<\/p>\n

Georgie had announced the family were expecting their third child in an August Instagram post.<\/p>\n

In the photo, the mum was crouched on the sand of a beach as she cradled each of her children in each arm, with them putting their little hands on her stomach.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“Another little bestie joining us next year,” she wrote. <\/p>\n
