NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Belmont University Athletics announced Monday it will host a men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader Saturday, Jan. 31 vs. Murray State. #ItsBruinTime<\/p>\n \u00a0

\nThe Belmont-Murray State women’s basketball game will tip at 4 p.m. (ESPN+) followed by the Belmont-Murray State men’s basketball game at 7 p.m.
\n\u00a0
\nThe men’s game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
\n\u00a0
\nThe women’s matchup will be a rematch of the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference championship game.
\n\u00a0
\nLast year’s meeting in Nashville was one of the highest-scoring games in Curb Event Center history; Tuti Jones<\/a>, Kendal Cheesman<\/a>, and Kendall Holmes<\/a> combined to score 74 points as the Bruins won, 96-89.
\n\u00a0
\nThe two programs \u2013 led by Bart Brooks<\/a> and Rechelle Tuner, respectively \u2013 won a combined 51 games last season with each making postseason runs.
\n\u00a0
\nBelmont women’s basketball has won 24 of the previous 30 meetings.
\n\u00a0
\nThe Belmont-Murray State men’s basketball series has established itself as one of the top rivalries in college basketball.
