However, Asvel has spent less than that amount on their roster this season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"648\">Because of this, the other shareholders\u2014meaning the clubs that own the competition\u2014have the option to exclude Asvel from the EuroLeague after this season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"869\">In recent days, reports have also emerged that ASVEL is considering leaving the EuroLeague voluntarily and joining the FIBA Champions League as part of aligning with the NBA Europe project organized by the NBA and FIBA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1088\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">It will be interesting to see whether ASVEL decides to leave on its own or if EuroLeague teams choose to exclude them, but it\u2019s increasingly likely that the French club will not be part of the competition next
