{"id":228617,"date":"2025-10-20T23:39:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T23:39:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/228617\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T23:39:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T23:39:12","slug":"supercars-weather-forecast-for-2025-boost-mobile-gold-coast-500","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/228617\/","title":{"rendered":"Supercars weather forecast for 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DON\u2019T rule out the prospect of weather spicing up another bout of Supercars racing this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 marks the category\u2019s first ever finals round, whereby three of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/supercars-inaugural-finals-contingent-locked-in\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the 10 drivers who made the playoffs cut<\/a> will be eliminated from title contention.<\/p>\n<p>Supercars is riding the momentum from a sensational Repco Bathurst 1000 on October 12, and the possibility of the heavens opening combined with a high-stakes showdown could make for another tantalising race weekend.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/v8-sleuth-magazine-issue-1?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/V8Sleuth-Magazine-1_91f7f282-3ced-4ad8-9031-10de31dcd2de_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the time of publication, the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a 60 percent chance of rain for Sunday and up to 5mm.<\/p>\n<p>While not a heap, that could still be enough to wreak havoc at the Surfers Paradise concrete canyon.<\/p>\n<p>There hasn\u2019t been a fully wet Gold Coast Supercars race since severe storms cancelled the Sunday leg in 2018.
