Alexander Bublik has been on fire during the second half of the 2025 ATP season. <\/p>\n

Since the summer, the Kazakh star has seen his ranking skyrocket following triumphs at four tour-level events. <\/p>\n

After Bublik secured the fifth title of his career<\/a> at the Halle Open in June, he went on to add three more crowns to his tally. <\/p>\n

The 28-year-old won back-to-back titles in Gstaad and Kitzbuhel, before going all the way at the Hangzhou Open. <\/p>\n

Having been 82nd in the world in March, Bublik<\/a> is now ranked 16th, the highest he has been in his career so far. <\/p>\n

Now, at the Vienna Open<\/a>, Bublik has predicted whether or not he can finally crack the top ten before the end of the season. <\/p>\n

Alexander Bublik reflects on his 2025 season on the tour<\/p>\n

In an interview with Sky Sports<\/a>, Bublik said: \u201cIf you asked me if I could win three ATP 250 [tournaments], I\u2019d probably say three is tough, probably one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of the four titles that Bublik has won this year, three of them have come at ATP 250 level. <\/p>\n

\u201cI have won titles, but four is a lot. I was really mentally stable in the crucial moments, which I didn\u2019t do in Shanghai, for example, and I had my chances.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the Shanghai Masters, Bublik lost to eventual champion Valentin Vacherot<\/a> in his opening match.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s tennis\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s tennis in 2025. When everyone is playing good tennis, it\u2019s about the two or three shots that you make, the two or three points that you win or lose, and that defines if either you\u2019re finishing in the top 20 or 75th of the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I did it in the four titles that I won and I haven\u2019t done it in Shanghai, you know, so that\u2019s what probably made the difference.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been top 20, I\u2019ve been 17, now I\u2019m 16 or something like this. In my personal view I have just got back to where I am supposed to be because I\u2019ve been there.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did it two times in two years so for me that\u2019s around the level I\u2019m playing maybe in between 15 and 30. It depends on the schedule and injuries and luck in a way.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I can touch the top 10 that\u2019s going to be great for my history and I have a chance to do that, I believe, because I don\u2019t have many points to defend. <\/p>\n

\u201cNow it\u2019s up to me if I\u2019m going to perform in the correct way, if I\u2019m going to use the chance or if I am going to blow it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexander Bublik wins his first match at the 2025 Vienna Open<\/p>\n

Bublik, seeded eighth, kicked off his campaign at the Vienna Open with a straight-set victory over Alejandro Tabilo. <\/p>\n

He is more than capable of making a deep run at the ATP 250 event, though his path to the title is not as favourable as he would like it to be. <\/p>\n

The eight-time ATP champion is on a collision course with world number two Jannik Sinner<\/a>, whom he could meet in the quarterfinals. <\/p>\n

Though it will be a tough task, Bublik is one of three men to clinch a victory over Sinner in 2025, having defeated him at the Halle Open en route to the title. <\/p>\n
